It’s official, I’m a Hincher

So, it’s official, I am a Hincher! I was really late jumping onto the Mrs Hinch bandwagon, and have to admit, before I became a fully paid up card-carrying member of the #HinchArmy I was so sceptical about the whole ‘Hinching‘ phenomena! That was, until I decided to actually sit down and browse through Mrs Hinch’s Instagram page and watch her Insta-Stories.

I am now, officially a Hincher! Seriously though, Sophie Hinchcliffe has inspired me to look at my home in a totally different light. So, instead of just seeing our home as a base, a disorganised, chaotic space, filled with the clutter, noise, and general chaos of a busy family, I am now filled with enthusiasm to overhaul, revamp, redecorate, reinvigorate and ‘Hinchify‘ our home!

I am starting with the bathroom…..to me, the worst room in our house, both to keep tidy, and especially to keep clean, particularly with 2 very messy teenagers in the house, not to mention an equally messy husband! So, I have beem browsing for inspiration, on sites such as Insta, Pinterest, and various websites, such as Wayfair, Made.com and looking in magazines. Whilst we can’t afford to make big changes, such as re-tiling the entire bathroom, or replacing the bathroom suite, I am working with them to create a bathroom space that I will want to spend time in, that I am not embarrassed for visitors to use and that I can be proud of! As a result I have been placing numerous orders for storage units, and the little bits and pieces that make a house a home, or in this case a bathroom a cosy space, whilst still being able to allow it to be functional and organised and easy to keep clean and tidy.

I have really enjoyed browsing online and have picked up some amazing bargains from eBay, again inspired by Mrs Hinch and have picked up some real bargains. I’m not going to make this post about the bathroom, I’ll write a separate post on that when it’s done, as this is my post about my newfound allegiance to the #HinchArmy. I now love visiting my local discount stores, such as B&M and Home Bargains and can spend forever trawling through the cleaning aisles in supermarkets and stores, looking for various products, all designed to make my home cleaner, in faster and more efficient ways! I am proud to say I have a cleaning caddy filled with Astonish products, Stardrops products and of course, Zoflora! I am buying the various cloths, sponges and paraphenalia and have my very own under the sink storage unit on order to keep all my #Hinching products in!

So, I would like to say thank you to Mrs Hinch, she has given me the inspiration to create a cosy, spotless and beautiful home for my husband, my girls and our cat!
